Sunnyslope goes as Luba goes. Period. Leading scorer. Leading rebounder. Heavy offensive usage. She’s the engine. The NYU commit has carried the load all year and now looks to close her high school career the right way. If she’s efficient and stays out of foul trouble, the Vikings are dangerous.

Luba has done a very good job of expanding her shooting range. She has always been very effective from the mid-range, but the added shooting range has made her even tougher. Her recruitment has picked up lately and should only get more intense moving forward.

The normally good shooting Luba struggled to get her shot going while fighting foul trouble. Maggie stepped up big in the 2nd half and got going with some shots and was extremely active on the glass with her length and athletic ability.

Luba showed why she is one of the better three-level scorers in the state. She shot three-pointers well, shot her top-notch pull-up jumper and got into the lane consistently. Maggie also rebounded very well as well as playing solid defense. She is one of the top scorers in the state.
