María was one of the strongest passers I saw at R4R. She is a very unselfish player who saw the floor very well and had the IQ and skill to know how much to put on a pass and which angle to throw it at. Her strength to finish through contact and her patience were impressive. I liked how well she shot it from deep and how she took her time when she had open space.

María is a Bolivian hooper that has made her way to Central Florida and really turned some heads at the Sunshine State Showdown. She has international playing experience and it really shines through in her game. Her IQ, movement without the ball, and strength to protect the ball on the drive are some parts of her talent that stand out. María can easily finish off of her opposite foot and is one of the best at getting downhill in the state with a strong frame.

María is super tough to stop when she’s getting downhill. Her quick first step, ability to finish with either hand, and strength with the ball make her a very talented finisher at the rim. She can hit the outside shot, and she’s one of the smartest passers I’ve seen with some Bolivian flare. María does a nice job of protecting the ball on offense, making the right play, getting to two feet on the attack, and she’s also strong on the defensive end with her instincts.
