Campbell certainly isn’t the biggest kid on the floor but, she doesn’t let that stop her with her play. Mariah is back at Dillon HS for the Lady Wildcats. Campbell a point guard averaged 11 ppg, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals last season for the Lady Wildcats (19-6).
She really keeps the ball low to the deck and can touch the paint when needed. Mariah always seems to be under control while on the floor leading from out top. After being injured during her sophomore season she came back last season with a solid year. Look for her to build on that over in the Pee Dee this season.

The rising standout from 3A Dillon, she was a bright spot for her Team Big Shots Think Big 17U team against a Georgia Pearls Jr. National 17U assembling that put together an offensive onslaught that Saturday afternoon in Raleigh. Campbell is a backcourt stalwart with the capabilities to play at either of the two guard positions. She also gives teams plenty of problems with her defense as she is likely to get opponents to cough up the rock. Add in the fact that she is a potent scorer and one can certainly see why Campbell is playing up in class on the grassroots circuit.

Mariah is small in height but surely not in heart and determination. Campbell plays the game bigger than her size and with a fearless competitive attitude. She understands how to get the ball into the paint and looks to make plays for herself along with her teammates. Mariah will jump on the floor or in the bleachers for a loose ball. Look for the Lady Wildcats to make some progress this season in the win column.

Campbell isn’t big at all in height but don’t let scare you. She is absolutely fearless with her play. Mariah won’t back down from anyone on the floor when it comes to defending, rebounding or just making a play.
Campbell plays the game so hard at times and never gives up on anything she does on the floor.

Mariah really likes to drop some floaters from time to time after getting the ball into the lane. The Wildcats will rely on her heavily this season to provide any kind of offensive punch and leadership.
