Giordano is a tough assignment for any opponent to draw – whether that is on either offense or defense. She will attempt her fair share of 3-pointers and showcases the camaraderie she has with her teammates by engaging in efficient ball movement. Giordano also makes things difficult for opposing teams as a defender with her ability to intercept passes. She will also get out into the transition game and make plenty of plays. On what was an ice cold night in the Upstate, Giordano was one of the Generals that had a hot hand, finishing with 10 points in a one-sided victory.

With the Wade Hampton in the Hilton Head Island area on the verge of consolidating with Estill, the one that Giordano plays for in the Upstate will be the lone Wade Hampton HS remaining. In addition to basketball, she has also played volleyball while wearing Generals red and has also worn the colors of Lady Sixers throughout the AAU months. Defense, 3-point shooting, keeping herself out of foul trouble, efficient passing and a high basketball IQ are hallmarks of Giordano’s complete game. Wade Hampton will compete as a 4A team after several seasons of being part of the 5A ranks.

Speaking of dual sport athletes, Giordano is another of those in the upstate as she too also adds volleyball to her athletic resume. She gets herself in the best positions to corral steals and can be true on her attempts from the 3-point area. Giordano can have games where she manages to keep herself out of foul trouble and will play with a high basketball IQ. She will make efficient passes and understands how to take care of the ball. The Generals have played the entire Eric Burrow era as a 5A team and will compete in the 4A class in 2022-23.
