Maya recently received Division I offers from UMass, Dartmouth and Delaware this summer, and a big junior school-ball season could put her in position to receive even more calls from college coaches. She has a tight handle and does a good job keeping defenders from knocking the ball away. Maya plays strong down low and uses her shoulder well to initiate contact before finishing around the basket.

Tallied offense from baseline jumpers and feeds around the rim. She wasn’t afraid to be physical and impose her will on both sides of the ball. One of the most unfazed players I got eyes on today when it came to absorbing contact and dishing it back out.

Dangerous lefty. She oozed confidence and is surely developing a versatile offensive bag with the ability to be a consistent 3-level scorer. Very effective and pretty Euro. Big time on the boards. Played inside-out and did whatever she could to put her team in a winning position.
