Mayce is a determined two-way player for Gladstone and her efforts have helped the team reach an impressive 20-1 record. Mayce is a sharpshooter with a smooth jumper beyond the arc and she drained six triples against Escanaba earlier this season. Mayce jumps passing lanes and deflects the ball away for steals with her quick hands. She creates scoring for teammates by distributing accurate passes and pushes the ball with pace to finish full-speed layups in transition.

Mayce dribbled into a confident pull-up 3 off the opening tip and kept shooting lights out all night. She went scorched Earth against Escanaba from long range, draining six triples and scoring 20 points on the night. She dished assists to teammates and turned a steal into two points for the Braves. Mayce threw accurate skip passes against the zone and handled the ball well for Gladstone.

Hanson had an impressive day at the GVSU team camp. She was attacking and finishing through contact. She showcased a nice euro-step move that was tough to defend. Additionally, she was effective on the defensive end, causing havoc for her opponents and coming away with multiple steals. Keep an eye out for a big senior year from Mayce with her Gladstone team.
