Meadow’s recruiting really took off during the travel season prior to an injury. She’s back to full speed and making a huge impact on the court for Macomb Dakota. Meadow’s been leading the way in January with three 14+ point and 8+ rebound games, including a double-double during a win against Chippewa Valley. Her athleticism, outside range, and two-way impact will be an exciting addition to a college program.

Meadow is a senior still on the recruiting board who could end up being a major addition for the right college program. The skilled forward plays with poise and strength, taking care of the ball and scoring efficiently around the basket with either hand. She adds another layer to her game by stretching defenses with her outside shot, while her balance, touch, and polished footwork allow her to finish through traffic. With interest already coming in, it will be exciting to see where Meadow ultimately continues her basketball career.

Meadow led the Cougars with 24 points during a victory over L’anse Creuse and her impact this season earned a MAC Red All-Conference selection. Meadow averaged 12 points, 3.6 steals, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game–she’s going to be a prospect to watch this spring.

Meadow grabbed my attention immediately during warmups with her lengthy frame and athleticism at the Compound. Then she confirmed her next-level potential once the game started. Meadow chased down a breakaway to block the layup and deflected a pass defending the ball to cause a turnover. She showed her perimeter accuracy by drilling 3s from up top and the wing. Meadow added a back-cut layup off two feet and had a fantastic day for the Cougars.
