This kid plays with speed, and that alone creates havoc on both ends of the floor. She has a nice jumper in her arsenal; however, her ability to get to the rack is second to none. Look for her to be a defensive juggernaut and help CPA get back to Cookeville in her senior season.

One of the most selfless kids in the state, she is back from injury and ready to help lead the Lady Lions back to the title game. The Trevecca commit is looking to regain form and lead the girls in purple. She’s the type kid is a dynamic facilitator and one who creates havoc on D. Speed is the name of her game as it’s an asset of hers. Look for her to showcase that and play an uptempo style of ball as the Lady Lions look to make a title run. Merli is a solid kid who is about to let everyone know she is back in business.

A leader. A captain. A true warrior who competes night in and night out. This kid is the ultimate facilitator when it comes to this game. She can knock shots down from multiple spots on the floor, but drawing two and kicking out is what she does best. She, too, is a beast on the defensive end. Turning her opponent left and right, eventually cornering them into a turnover, this kid will be a welcoming addition back to the CPA lineup. Look for her to have a big year and help lead CPA back to state contention.

Coming off an injury, this kid is ready to return back to form. A motored-up kid who creates chaos on both ends of the floor. She is a heady PG who can run any offense efficiently and effectively. She can score the rock at will, but her MO is getting others involved. She competes on both ends of the floor, causing panic and confusion. Look for her to be an important piece of the Lady Lions’ attack this upcoming season. A piece that will surely have them sitting pretty in the final 4.

Speed demon who creates havoc the full length of the floor. Offensively, she is a driver who can get high % shots. She’s an effective floor general who can efficiently run any offense. Smart ballplayer who always finds the hot hand. Defensively, she creates turnovers. She’s going to pick you up full court and bait you to either turn you over or slow you down. This kid gets steals and deflections by the bunches. Solid kid who is a gamer.

Really enjoy watching her play! Routh does things on the floor most kids can’t imagine. Elite vision both in transition and in the half court. Can throw cross court darts most HS kids can’t. Has developed into a high level 3 point shooter, and will pull if you put your hands down. Is a very effective ball handler that uses nice shiftiness and changes in speed to get defenders off balance. Crafty finisher at the rim.
