When outside shots weren’t falling, she played smart basketball and made plays inside, driving into the body of the defender for the foul. She recognized early on that the refs were heavy on the whistle and knew she’d get that call every single time. Excellent free throw shooter. Despite the loss to District One, she remained aggressive and did plenty of good things out there to still be an asset to her team. Great players find other ways to impact the game when their offense isn’t clicking and Mia certainly did that.
