Mica is now a Chipotle National champion with DME Academy, continuing to build momentum as one of the more poised and unselfish point guards in the class. The Brazilian prospect brings strong leadership qualities to the floor, consistently facilitating and controlling the offense with patience and feel. She plays with a quick first step, a high motor, and a steady pace that keeps her team organized in pressure situations. Competing at DME which is one of the most nationally recognized programs all season provided consistent high-level development and exposure, and she finished the year strong while navigating adversity after a hot start. Her combination of pace, decision-making, and leadership makes her a steady engine at the point guard position.

Mica showed great command of the floor and played with confidence from start to finish. She controlled the pace of the game and used a smooth change of speed to keep defenders off balance. Her deep three ball stretched the floor and opened lanes for her drives. She attacked the baseline with control and purpose and showed her craftiness as she side stepped her defender and drew contact.

Mica is one of the top floor generals in all of the state, so it was only a matter of time that she jumped into the Top 25. She’s able to control the speed of the game and does an amazing job of seeing the floor and finding her open teammates. Her quickness allows her to get downhill with a quick first step/burst, and she’s also a huge threat to hit the three ball from anywhere.

Micaela is one of the best PG’s in the state, regardless of class. She has a lot of speed, but plays the game under control and sets the tone for her offense. Her unselfishness and passing is what make her stand out as a talented, true point guard. She sees the floor well, makes nice dump down passes to her posts, and pushes the ball with control in transition. Mica can also knock down the 3 ball and is a real sleeper in this 2027 class in Florida.

Micaela really impressed me a couple weekends ago when I saw her play. She sees the floor so well and always has her head up looking for her open teammates. Her quickness and bouncy play make her difficult to guard but also helps her pick the pockets of her opponents. She can definitely shoot it from outside but will make the extra pass if another shot is available. I fully expect her to climb these rankings after this debut in the Top 50.
