Mickellyn is a returning All-Region and All-State selection for the Killdeer Cowboys. She is a savvy scorer and can do it from anywhere on the floor. She is more than capable of stretching the floor with her excellent three-point shooting ability. She is also able to get downhill and get to the hoop. She has good size at 6′ and does a good job of leveraging her strength against opponents. Killdeer needs Walker to step up every night to be competitive, and she seems to always heed the call to perform.

Walker is an All-Region and All-State talent for Killdeer. She has been under the radar because it has been difficult for me to find film on her team. She is a scoring machine and the main option for her team. She has good size at 6′ and is nimble on her feet. She has good footwork around the basket and is able to slip past defenders for layups. She has a good shot and excels in the mid-post.

Mickellyn is someone that runs under the radar but is starting to gain attention throughout the state. She was selected to the All-State Team this season after having a very good year. She is a tall and long 6′ post who can score in bunches. She has potential at the next level due to her size and scoring ability. Killdeer is lucky to have a player like Mickellyn.

Mickellyn was an All-Region selection last season as a sophomore, averaging 16 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. What stood out most to me about Mickellyn’s game is her ability to shoot the three from deep. A lot of her 48 makes last season were from 2-4 feet behind the three point line. She has a nice rhythm to her shot and a good follow-through. Mickellyn was able to take the role of primary scorer last season and will be looking to continue to build upon a great sophomore season.
