Another standout 2024 from a 4A power, Davis has once again proved her value this season with the Copperheads. Catawba Ridge may be one of the newer schools in the state, but it has already made a name for itself in the realm of girls basketball and Davis has been a huge part of the Copperheads’ near-meteoric rise. Davis has excelled as both a scorer and a rebounder as she has averaged 9.5 points and 7.1 rebounds in 14 games with Catawba Ridge. She is also a defensive anchor as she can collect steals and block shots. The Copperheads did drop their first region game of the season, but only by seven points against the 4A undefeated juggernaut that is South Pointe.

The Copperheads have two players on their current roster that are just a shade under six feet. One of those happens to be Davis. She gets plenty of deserved credit for being versatile as she can give her team productive minutes either in the backcourt as a guard or in the frontcourt as a forward. She draws contact on plenty of occasions and that can give her opportunities at the free throw line in addition to coming through for her team as a rebounder. Davis concluded her evening having scored five points as Catawba Ridge earned a commanding victory over Chesterfield.

Davis and the Lady Copperheads (23-3) had a great run last year before falling to Westside HS in the Upper State Finals. Morgan a forward averaged 6.2 ppg and 4.8 rebounds. She isn’t flashy with her play at all she just does the little things to help you team win games. Morgan can come up with a big rebound, loose ball or a bucket around the paint.

Catawba Ridge HS has only been in existence since 2019 and because of standout talents like Davis, it has already made major waves in the South Carolina high school girls basketball landscape. Davis is a 5-foot-10 big who ran grassroots with Lady Attack Elite. Davis is a skilled handler of the ball who can slice and dice her way to the basket through a sea of opposing defenders. She throws defenses for a loop as they are unsure as to if she will attack or pass and is unafraid to draw contact that can place her at the free throw line.
