Mya is someone with a lot of potential for the South-Prairie Max Royals. She is a long and athletic guard who can defend anyone. I really like her lateral quickness and anticipation. She ‘jumps to the ball’ as good as anyone I have watched. She can handle the rock and is a good outside shooter. She finished the season averaging 6.6 points per game and shooting 30% from behind the arc. Look for those numbers to improve as she progresses through high school.

Mya is a great piece to have on the floor. She is a tough defender who picks up the ball right at half-court and is able to keep the ball in front of her. She is a good outside shooter and has her hands and feet set for drive and kick opportunities. She is long and athletic and will be a really good high school player.

Mya is the first off of the bench for South Prairie and is another guard who can impact the game in multiple ways. She is long and lengthy and has good foot-speed. She is capable of handling the rock and allowing some of her teammates a chance to take a substitution break. I like who she runs the floor hard and wide. I think she has potential to be an outstanding defender as well.
