Mya used the Spring & Summer to go from a bit of an unknown to a productive, recruitable prospect on the wing at the small college level. She is a strong, somewhat physical guard, and she’s a solid North/South athlete who can get out and go in transition. She has some ball skill, but I think she’s more of a shooter/scorer than a playmaker for others. She plays with a nice motor, she rebounds her position well, and she’s willing to mix it up defensively as well.

Mya is another prospect who has really put herself “on the radar” this Spring, in terms of her recruiting. She has a strong, athletic frame, some length, plus she is a nice North/South athlete. She plays fairly compact and likes to attack the basket straight-line, but she also has some touch outside coupled with a fairly quick release. She is definitely an offensive-minded player, but she will also give nice effort defensively.

Recently, I have really enjoyed familiarizing myself with Mya’s game at a couple of different grassroots tournaments. She has a fairly strong, athletic frame, a little length, and she’s another hard-working, high-motor wing guard. I feel like I always see her around the basketball, whether that’s picking up a loose ball or rebound, or in the mix defensively. She wants to help her team(s) win, plus she has a solid and balanced skillset outside.

Last weekend was my first time seeing Mya in-person and she is intriguing. She has some strength and an athletic frame, broad shoulders, plus a little length. She is a nice North/South athlete who can attack the basket from the perimeter and finish around the rim. She seemed to compete and play hard each possession, she will get inside and rebound some, plus she is physical defensively. I need to see more of her and how well she does defending ball-screens, defending quicker ball-handlers, etc., but my initial impression was that she could be a solid small college prospect.
