Collegiate coaches and scouts have a close eye on Fountain Inn’s program and not only for the purposes of basketball but other athletic disciplines. Whitner is an example of this as she secured an offer from Coker for its track and field program. She excels especially in the shot put and discus throw. Whitner also landed an offer from Erskine for its track and field program as well. In terms of basketball, she has had a travel career that included a stint with Amp Elite . Whitner would compete in all 27 contests last season with the Fury. Whitner was one of six from the class of 2027 on last season’s Fury team. 

Whitner is a multi-sport athlete who also excels in track and field – specifically the shot put and discus throw – in addition to her many basketball achievements. Earlier this month, Whitner secured an offer from Erskine College in its throwing program. Basketball-wise, Whitner would play in 27 games last season at 4A Fountain Inn and was one of the team leaders in 3-point percentage. A veteran talent that can give a team solid minutes either at the two, the three or the wing, Whitmer was one of six from the class of 2027 on last season’s Fury team. Her travel career includes a stint where she ran with Amp Elite .
