I am a little surprised that Mylee hasn’t been signed yet. She is a skillful, mobile forward who can play inside and out. She has a really nice jump-shot and can be a full-time perimeter ‘4’, but she has the length and height to play some inside as well. She’s a fluid athlete who gets out and runs in transition, plus she has a little bounce to her. I think she could be an immediate contributor at the small college level because of her ability to shoot it at her height, but I also think she could/should earn some athletic scholarship money as well.

Mylee is on a grassroots team with quite a few quality frontline players with size, so playing in a rotation like that, she doesn’t always stand out. I do feel like Friday she was much more confident and aggressive however, and she showed the whole “bag of tricks” offensively. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, and she can play inside-out. She has a pretty stroke outside, but she is handling it better out there, too. Inside, she uses her length and a little bounce to out-rebound taller, more physical players. She began The Finale strong.

I got wind of Mylee during the high school season, but this was my first time seeing her in-person. She is definitely intriguing, and I can see why she is able to put up good numbers for her high school team. She has a long but athletically strong frame, she’s a solid athlete in most directions, and she plays with a great motor. She switches ends of the floor quickly, she’ll battle inside for post position, rebounds, and defensively, but she is also comfortable facing the basket in the mid-post and the short corners. I need to see her again soon, but she could become a really nice small college prospect.
