In addition to basketball, Brooks also competes in track and field where she is putting extra emphasis on the shot put. Brooks and her West Florence team had a solid weekend at South Carolina’s camp and is looking ahead to the upcoming season where the Knights will make their return to the 4A ranks after a pair of seasons competing in 5A. Following her freshman season in West Florence green and gold, the six-foot big will look to solidify the Knights’ frontcourt over the next several seasons. West Florence is in search of its first winning season since 2021-22 and having a solid young frontcourt force such as Brooks will help greatly in that objective.
