Gutierrez is a hard-nosed player who made extra-effort plays on both ends of the court. She worked well off the ball and cut to the rim when her defender lost track of her. However, what impressed me most about the Kenosha native was her rebounding. She crashed the offensive glass hard and corralled a few boards, earning her team extra possessions.

Suiting up for Indian Trails High School, Gutierrez brought toughness and relentless energy every time she stepped on the floor. She was a rebounding machine, crashing the glass on both ends with great timing. Offensively, she used her strength to play through contact and pushed the tempo herself without waiting for an outlet. Her hustle and two-way motor made her an invaluable piece for Team 12.
