About Nija

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast while also being able to slow it down. I can give you lock down defense when ever on the court. I have a powerful drive and can shoot mid range shots all day

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a get it back mentality. If I lose the back I will hunt it down to get it back. Always play hard mentality too.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in National Honor Society at my school

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Speaking up and not letting my teammate just slack. And set an example for my teammate and the program to follow after

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Junior year I went though a rough pack for a long time where I didn’t see A future in basketball for me until I got to aau season an I got to gain my confidence and love for the game back again

Calyen gave me a different look off the top as she made my Shooters Galore Tip Sheet which is why I love seeing players in different settings yet her “never taking a play-off” wowed me. Her “on the ball” pressure was smothering, her first step coupled with her body control was solid and she continued to drop the jumper, including the “stop and pop”
