About Nova

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Nova is a dominant ball handler, a leader beyond her years, a competitor, diverse shooter and a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Basketball is my life. Coach Gino from UCONN once said, “Great players never get tired and good players do. When the good players get tired, the great players kick their butts.” That’s me… I’m GREAT!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently in the club team Powerhouse in Colorado Springs. I play year round.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been a leader and finally found a space to share my voice. I’m a component for teamwork and look to build relationships with others to grow as a player and individual.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve overcome being the youngest person on my team. I have played up since I started playing basketball, which comes with its disadvantages (height, weight, skill) but I have never let it defeat me or stop me from being a great player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to go to UCLA because I love Kiki Rice. My second option would be Texas University (Go Longhorns), or of course, Tennessee.
