got the nod for the OCA All-State team. Dillard, an OGBCA All-Stater averaged 14 a game for the 6A State Champions. Was named Region 1 Offensive Player of the year, but is a long-armed, versatile defender as well. Had a huge second half (13 points) in the Finals against Mustang. Helping lead PC North to their first girls State Title.

Not only will Dillard pick the opposition’s pocket. She’ll also swat a shot or too. The same long arms that she uses to poke out loose balls or deflect passes are also perfect for chase down blocks. Even if a player can get by Dillard’s defense, she’s seemingly fly in from out of nowhere for the big block from behind. Her ability to rack up “stocks” make her one of the top defenders in Oklahoma. And she has also plenty of offensive punch with a shifty driving game, which helps her play at her own pace.

Few players bring it on both ends as well as Dillard does for the Lady Panthers. She’s a ball hawking defender, who can move her foot and use her wingspan to smoother opposing ballhandlers. Then also use her long arms plus quick hands to poke out errant dribbles and block shots. Along with setting the tone on defense, was the most consistent scorer. Tough driver, who can shift gears, and has some tricks with ballfakes and more. One of Oklahoma’s best available guards. Will be a steal at the next level. Because in every viewing on Dillard in the last year she has always brought big time energy.

Another key component of Putnam City North’s team, Dillard can fill it up as well. But she is also a well rounded, hard nose lead guard. From her final summer tournament comes a highlight video that showcases all of those qualities. She’s an opportunistic defender, as a long armed havoc causer. She drives to set up teammates just as often as she looks to score. It’s hard to pinpoint a weakness on one of the more complete guards in Oklahoma, who has impressed in every viewing dating back to December.

A very athletic combo guard that again was consentient in her game Saturdays. Nykaiya is going to bring toughness, hustle and 100% percent every game. She scored in a variety of ways. It could be a jumper, backdoor cut, or crashing the board for a offensive putback. A combo guard that can play pressure defense that can convert steals into layups.

A defensive specialist that get dominated the front of the 2-2-1 press for her Aces squad. Nykaiya is the type of guard that quick enough to play front of the press for the steal but physical enough to take the hit on the layup for the And ! finish.
An excellent scorer going downhill creating contact to assure she was going to score. Nice mid range game with pull ups off the dribble. Fierce offensive rebounder that can get you the putback on a miss shot. I did not see her outside shot but it was not needed as her team had the shooters. To me just show the type of player she is whatever it takes to compete and win the game.
A highly ranked player in her class that has received interest and offers.

Watching Dillard never disappoints. She’s a long armed guard who plays with defensive swagger that leads to her racking up “stocks”. The feisty guard will chase down fellow guards to reject their shots, deflect sloppy passes and make life difficult for ballhandlers with physical on the ball defense. Her dominating mindset carries over to the offensive end where she’s a terror off the bounce and is a plus offensive rebounder for a guard. Here’s one example of the advantages she’s always looking to create. Following a drive and kick to an open shooter, she immediately went and got position for an offensive rebound. It’s little plays like that which add up and make her impact the game in a loud way.

The star of the day in Shawnee, Dillard did EVERYTHING for the Panthers in the win. Multiple times her quick hands and great anticipation skills allowed her to make recovery blocks to save points for her team. Those same anticipation skills put her in position to take at least two huge charges on the defensive end. Dillard’s contribution didn’t stop on the defensive end, she was a consistent with her tough finishing at the rim. And even drilled a huge pull up three to answer a Yukon three. The junior was a complete guard on the day, and would not be denied. Now, Dillard and her teammates will get to showcase their skills on the big stage of the Class 6A State Tournament.
