Bungum is one of the best kept secrets in the 2027 class. Standing at 5’9, she’s not going to blow you away with her athleticism, but Olivia’s game is incredibly polished. She handles the ball on a string, can knock down threes with her eyes closed, and is constantly threading the ball through tight seams in the defense. Olivia plays with tremendous energy on both ends of the floor, and is always ready to make an impact for her team. The United South Central junior has put up crazy numbers since the start of her varsity career, and is likely to do the same again this winter.

Bungum is a 5’9 combo guard who has already broken 5 school records: most points in a season (505) most three-pointers made (65), along with single-game records for points (34) threes (7) and steals (10).
The lefty is averaging just under 20 points per game along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Olivia is a strong athlete who gets to the basket through traffic and has a physical presence. She can score at a high level but has also become a really good on-ball and off-ball defender who leads the Rebels in steals and deflections. She just scored her 1,000th career point as a sophomore.

The United South Central guard gave one of the best performances we saw all day at the Sophomore ID Camp. There were so many things she did to help her team that it would almost be easier to list what she didn’t do. More than anything, Bungum is an impact player through and through. No matter who she’s playing for, or what the score is, Olivia finds big and small ways to change the course of the game. We especially liked her ball handling, ability to make dime passes through traffic, and never ending motor. Her defense is played with intensity and she competes with a consistent level of energy and effort, even when she’s tired.
