Kibbe is another player who continues to elevate her game each time I see her, and what I’m enjoying more is her “poise under pressure” handling the ball as well as making the RIGHT decisions. She’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base. Her timing to block shots has gotten better, so has her “on the ball” defense, both in the set as well as baseline to baseline. She also understands how to use her deceptive first step to attack and score off the dribble, but seeing her create her shot and drop the jumper with a hand in her face spoke volumes about what’s coming

Kibbe is on to something; the more I see her, the more variety she brings to the table stands out. Her poise handling the ball coupled with her decision-making stood out and seeing her thread the needle between defenders for assists spoke volumes yet she read the floor and played the passing lane, plus she dropped the jumper

Paige keeps turning PAGES as she too is “long and athletic” with some impressive upside and here’s the deal. She understands how to get hers “in the flow” by either attacking and finishing or dropping the jumper, catch, and shoot” from deep is going to create problems. Her defense was solid, she even picked some pockets

Kibbe does a good job of creating her shot under pressure and using a deceptive first step to attack the basket and finish. That same creativity worked to get her shot off, but she also created spacing to drop the jumper with a hand in her face. Her “catch and shoot” from deep keeps getting better and she played solid defense

Kibbe mixed it up on the offensive end nicely and since she’s a long and athletic guard, she’s on the verge of something. Her pull-up jumper from midrange was nice, and so was her “catch and shoot” from BTA yet her step back was smooth and fluid. She has a deceptive first step to attack and finish, showed good timing to block shots, and played the passing lane
