The Zodrow sisters are leaders for last year state tournament team, Keys. They’ve won 4 straight to improve to 10-5 and move to 7th in the Class 3A rankings. Paizlee has been producing this month including 20 points, 5 assists, 7 steals vs Morris to start off Warner Tournament. She followed that up with 6 steals highlighting her statline in a blowout win over Eufula. The title game against hosts Warners was a defensive battle, with Keys winning 36-30. Zodrow kept being a nuisance on defense with 4 steals, while adding 7 points, 4 boards and 2 assists. Also a softball standout, the eastern Oklahoma gem is one of the top overall athletes in the state.

Zodrow sisters came up big in the first round, as yet another game came down to fourth quarter heroics. Paizlee scored 13 in the game while Payton added 12. I enjoyed the defensive matchups against Mong as each guard was trying to get downhill while going against tough physical defense. No easy cuts, no easy entry passes in this ball game.

Speedy lead guard, who is also a softball standout. She’s a menace on the defensive end with a strong and aggressive mentality to match that speed. Poured in 21 points with a full stat line in a win against Spiro. Her highlights of the game painted the picture of a havoc causing guard, who thrived in transition. Combines with her sharpshooting sister Payton to form a formidable backcourt for the eastern Oklahoma program.

One of the better guards at the camp, has shiftiness as a ballhandler. Looks to create advantages for herself or her teammates. Motor ran hot on defense as well, made a great hustle play to block a shot in transition and save two points. Closed out the first game of 5 on 5 with a barrage of three pointers. Exciting player to watch this past Saturday and will be keeping tabs on the eastern Oklahoma lead guard.
