Hicks is a big, strong, well-rounded guard for Carrollton. Even as a freshman, she has already played a lot of high-level, very competitive basketball. Hicks plays with a high basketball IQ and a level of maturity rare for someone her age. She handled and passed the ball well for Carrollton against a veteran Midtown team and their pressure on defense. She has the ability to be a very good rebounder and defender at the guard position. Hicks has great shot mechanics and is a big threat from three-point range.
