Super talented. Tough. One of the best ball players in the state. She just elevates her game and those around her when she is on the floor. She has this certain tunnel vision that allows her to deliever at a consistent clip. She is always making things happen, doesn’t matter where she is on the court. Her impact is felt throughout as she gets buckets after buckets. Everyone knows her story, how she battled back from her injury to finish out the season. She will go down as one of the top kids to lace’em up in these hardwoods. Iowa State is getting a steal in this kid as she will go there and be impactful as soon as she steps onto campus.

Just one of the best kids in the state, her ability to create her own shot is amazing. Though she isn’t the biggest kid on the court, her presence on the court is second to none. She finished with 30 points and grabbed 10 boards. Such an impactful player who is always in the right spot at the right time. She truly is one of the best in the state, and her competitive sprint invigorates her ball club. A tough player who has such a high ceiling; she’s going to be special at the next level.

She came back for a reason, and she has made good on her word. The fearless leader of the Lady Dragonettes dropped 29 points in their win over Pearl-Cohn. She was hot early and often from the field, stifling any type of defense PC tried to throw at her. Her club spreaded the floor, and Reese went to work. When they tried to throw an extra defender at her, she was able to hit the open girl for a great look. Reese is a built like that, a stone cold killer, who is at home on any basketball floor. Iowa State got a big-time player in this young lady. One who is a proven winner.

She is on a comeback tour, and ever since she has been back, everything within the Lady Dragonettes program has turned up. The Iowa State signee is one of the top talents in the state, and she goes into each contest ready to dominate. She can score it in multiple ways but also understands and has an exceptional feel for the game. She is able to process things at a moment’s notice, and when she doesn’t have the advantage, she knows where the pressure is coming from and hits her open teammate. A vet in the game, this kid has been great since her freshman year.

The Iowa State signee has been back less than a month and she has already elevated the spirits and the style of play around her ball club. Talk about a jolt of energy, this 3 level scoring threat has been getting buckets the moment she stepped back onto the court. Not only that, she’s ignited a fire in others as they too have turned it up a notch. These Lady Dragonettes are on a mission. Look for them to contend this postseason.

She has picked up as if she never left. Keep in mind, that she has battled back and only has played a handful of games thus far, however, her play has uplifted her ball club, inspiring them to do great. Reese has been a bucket, scoring 20+ in each of her contests since her return. She came back for one reason and that is to help her team lift up the trophy at the end of the year. These Dragonettes are locked and loaded especially with their leader back.

Sacrifice. This young lady is back! After missing all season due to a shoulder injury, the allure of family, teammates, and community couldn’t keep this young lady from doing battle with them and for them on the court. She has been rehabbing like crazy to get back onto the hardwood and in her return, dropped 19 points in her first game back. She’s on a mission and that’s to help her school win a state title. Look for her to rewrite this chapter in her amazing journey of playing high school basketball in this state.

This sensational senior will miss this season due to season ending surgery. However, this young lady invigorated a community with her stellar play. Right from the jump, she dazzled the York faithful and brought belief to a community that supported the Lady Dragonettes through and through. Committed to Iowa State, the Lady Cyclones program is getting a dynamic student athlete who will energize the city of Ames and the ISU faithful.
