As one of Minnesota’s standout guards in the 2028 class, it comes as no surprise that Keating made a major impression on our scouts on Sunday. With a high degree of athleticism and a well-developed skillset, Reese had her fingerprints all over the game. She brought poise and leadership on the offensive end, as well as her court vision and keen passing, leading to scoring opportunities for her team. On defense the Chanhassen sophomore was a pest. Using her lightning quick feet and active hands to put pressure on the perimeter. Keating was just as dynamic on the offensive end, providing bursts of offense for Team 1.

Of all the players I watched, Keating had one of the top 5 signature plays of the day. She tracked down an errant transition pass in the corner and in one motion went behind her back and Euro-stepped into a feathery soft floater. She also displayed great vision using her eyes to shift defenders in transition, allowing her to drop pinpoint passes to her teammates for easy scoring opportunities. Along with her crafty ball handling, Keating can also shoot it from outside making her a legitimate three-level threat.
