I really like how Remz plays. Her effort and enthusiasm on the floor show how coachable she is. Kent Ripplinger does an outstanding job of preparing his team to play and Reese is his best player on this year’s squad. Reese is one of the fastest and quickest players in the state. She blazes up the court and is really good in Red River’s 2-2-1 press. She led the EDC last season in steals and assists. She is an all-conference lock this season.

Grand Forks Red River is always a state tournament caliber team due to players like Reese. She is a feisty guard who flies all over the court with passion and energy. She led the EDC in steals and assists last season and is lightning quick. She had a great role model growing up in NDSU player Jocelyn Schiller. Reese will find herself on the All-EDC team next season and will be even better than this previous year.

Reese is a pesky guard, something that has come down the pipeline at Red River since as long as I can remember. She led the EDC in steals and assists and was clearly Red River’s best player. With a full season of varsity under her belt, look for Reese to really take a nice step next season. I see Reese thriving at the NAIA or D3 level.

Reese had an excellent year, helping lead the Roughriders once again to the state tournament. She is the next good, quick guard for Red River and was a great leader on the court. She is super quick and has great anticipation defensively. She led the EDC in assists at 4 assists per game and she also led in steals with 5.2 steals per game. Red River will have plenty of girls back next year and Reese might be the most important piece.
