With last year’s roster loaded with seniors, including the 3A player of the year, Ruby didn’t get a full chance to take over offensively—but she still finished in the top three for assists and steals. With more room to score this season, she’s poised to climb the rankings. If she continues to improve her scoring while maintaining her defensive impact, Ruby could easily become a player to take note of.

Do not sleep on the small school players and Clegg is one player you need to watch play. She can be a streaky shooter for sure and she will be much improved this coming season as the paint will open up a lot more.

Clegg will have an opportunity to take over in the scoring department. She shot the ball well but more consistency will help her out. If she can hit 1-2 three’s a game she is an immediate game changer filling in for a lot of player that graduated.

Really enjoyed watching this team last year as they play with a high motor and Clegg is always in the mix. Clegg can shoot the ball a little and she creates instant offense with her defense. Look for her to move up a bit.
