Ogbevire also showed her ability to run her squad and control the tempo and watching her thread the needle to hit teammates was nice, so was her directing traffic yet she also attacked the basket from multiple spots, and showed solid “on the ball” pressure, and played the passing lane

Ogbevire will join her talented sister Ese at Penn after her high school career is over and what a career she had. She is one of the most explosive guards in the state, and she has shown she can play both the 1 and 2 effectively because she understands how to run a team and run up numbers by scoring. Solid court vision plus her “on the ball” pressure were both solid

Ogbevire is committed to Penn. Here she will follow in her sister, Ese Ogbevire’s footsteps. In her freshman campaign Ese was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on two different occasions.

Ogbevire is one of the players who got lost in the shuffle as I hadn’t seen her in a couple of seasons yet the July viewing period brought back memories and then some. Her explosiveness off the dribble gave defenders problem, especially since she saw the floor from 30 feet away her her acrobatic finishes after contact and pull-up jumper were on full display as she moved up 35 spots

Ogbevire’s explosiveness also stood out and I hadn’t realized how long it had been since I saw her the last time, again this is a huge city filled with a variety of platforms and some players I just don’t see. I barely saw her as she blazed down the sideline to score however she wanted, her first step in the set as well as in the open court was a problem. She dropped the jumper with a hand in her face, she saw the floor, and her “on the ball” pressure was solid yet watching her play the passing lane JUST DID IT for me
