Rylea is new to Tippecanoe County, as she moves in from Seeger High School. She is another player with nice versatility, as she prefers to operate in the mid-post, she is an aggressive pursuing rebounder, and she tends to defend forwards and undersized posts. At the same time, she can step outside and knock down an open rhythm 3-pointer, she has the ball skill to attack the basket North/South, plus she can defend bigger wings as well. She plays with a strong motor, she’s vocal, and she has a real competitive fire to her game.

This was my first time seeing Rylea in over a year, and she has really grown and developed her game. She is stronger, more fluidly athletic, and she can play either forward spot with effectiveness. She was good getting out in transition, she has touch to the 3-point line, but she is very good in the mid-range game. I also like her ability to rebound her position and her defensive versatility.

Rylea made the move from Tipton to Seeger with her father this past season, and she stepped in immediately and was a real presence, averaging 10.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, she runs the floor well, and she has a little bounce to her. Additionally, she is not just an interior player, as she can handle it a little, she’s comfortable passing it around the perimeter, and she can step outside defensively and defend bigger wings as well as forwards and undersized posts.
