About Rylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can play both inside and out as a 5’10 small forward. I can handle the ball and shoot the ball as well as going inside and burying inside off of rebounds. I love to pass and push tempo as well. Court vision is everything I have tha. I’m definitely a passer and want my teammates to get the ball and score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very talkative and I get to know everyone. During games and practice I communicate and talk about everything. I am very coachable and ask a lot of questions. I’m often described as versatile and a competitive hard worker who never gives up when things get hard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently in eighth grade at Oakland and am currently in NJHS, AVID and honors English. I play volleyball for Kokoro in lake Elmo MN. I do ETS in the summer as well. I also manage a 3.9 gpa.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead the team with encouragement and strength. I believe it’s important to talk though everything. So team bonding is really important in my mind. The team can grow though everything together and I believe doing it as a team is important with growing a connection. My coach’s often say I’m a versatile player who can play inside and out.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have fallen into deep mental struggles with always pushing myself past the limit in bad ways. Ive dealt with burnout do the sport I love but each time i come back stronger and better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can succeed both in the classroom and the court. My goal is to is to play college basketball so I am always working on getting there. I would like a fun team that I can have fun with but also win and strive for excellence.
