Sade Charles turned in an outstanding Performance at the Showcase. She is the prototype Small Forward in my opinion. She can handle the ball well, she can drive and finish, and she can defend forwards and centers if needed. What stood out to me is her shooting touch. For a player with her size and strength, it is rare to see the kind of offensive skills she possesses. She is also a fierce competitor with a very high motor. I think that she has the ability to play D1 level Basketball if the right opportunity arises. She plays for Powerhouse Xavier Prep, and no doubt she will have her team in the mix for a State Title in 2025/26.

Sade is a versatile two-way guard with good size and mobility. A strong defender who can guard on the perimeter impressively. She can stress the floor with range beyond the arc and have a good pull up shot that will create headaches for defenders. She’s a true game changer no doubt about that.

Charles came out with something to prove, and she did just that. You name it and she did it well. She rebounded, shot the three ball well, battled for loose balls, and displayed active hands-on defense. She was one of the surprises of the event.
