Hockersmith is a blue collar producer for her southern Oklahoma program. For her career she has over 1000 points and 500 rebounds. Along with the points and boards, she also has a nose for loose balls and forcing steals. Plays the passing lanes well, and has good speed when pushing it in transition. A stat sheet stuffer, she’ll also have games with good assists numbers because she’s unselfish in transition and on drives. As part of a balanced attack for Lone Grove, Hockersmith had 12 points in a win this week. Punching a ticket to Area next week and a shot at a Regional Championship tonight.

The southern Oklahoma wing has been a producer for a long time. This season, she has Lone Grove off to a 5-1 start and ranked 20th in Class 4A. Has a couple double doubles on her resume already this year. Attacks and tracks rebounds very well on both ends. Off defensive rebounds, she looks to push herself with dribbles and good transition pitches. Good athlete as a driver. Combines with fellow senior Preslee Hunt to gives the Lady Longhorns a chance to make some noise come playoff time in Class 4A.

Sadie looks like an absolute pain in the butt to play against. I mean that in the best possible way. She debuts at No. 46 due in large part to her tenacity on the defensive end. She gets after it. Big time. She creates constant chaos with her pressure and really makes life miserable for opponents. She forces turnovers with her quick hands, pressure, and high basketball IQ. On the offensive end, she’s no slouch either. Her three-point stroke is quick and fluid. Hockersmith is an all-around very good prospect and I don’t think that she is done rising up the rankings just yet.
