Every program needs a point guard who knows how to make things happen, and not just for themselves but for others. Sally displayed that type of leadership on Monday, making key plays on both sides of the ball that resulted in a big win. It wouldn’t be surprising to see this St. Ignatius team make a run downstate.

The length, the speed and the shot making ability is all there for Kennedy. Competitive is the best way to describe her game, she plays both sides of the ball with intensity and doesn’t seem to slow down. Sally knows how to facilitate an offense, score within an offense and play within an offense even when it’s not in her hand. Strong ball handling skills mixed with high IQ and court vision makes for a strong guard at the next level.

Sally has seem to hit a growth spurt since the last time I’ve seen her play, and so has her skill set. Multiple times though out the scrimmage she showed the ability to be calm during pressure, dribble with security and facilitate from all angles on the court. She has a ton of creativity, matched with the lengthy frame to be just as versatile on the defensive end as well. A plug and fit guard who can play with any type of player and succeed. Strong upside.
