Samantha was recently added to our PGH roster, and she’s been making waves ever since. She leads the Bears in scoring as a sophomore, but her impact goes well beyond putting the ball in the hoop. With such a young roster, the Bears will continue to lean on her—and her fellow underclassmen—as they grow and develop.

Not often do we see multiple underclassmen making this kind of impact for one program, but Samantha is the second Bear River young player this week to make serious noise. She poured in 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for a double-double, showing she’s a factor on both ends of the floor. Her timing, length, and motor make her hard to keep off the glass and even harder to keep out of the scoring column.
