Samera was an athletic small forward who made a great first impression at the PGH MI College Tour with KIA Nurse Elite 17U. Her strength, determination, and endless effort resulted in many offensive rebounds throughout the tournament. Samera scored powerful contested putbacks at the rim and finished many layups off two feet, including a tough and-one through contact. She showed off her athleticism by jumping up to snatch rebounds at its highest point. I noted Samera’s strength many times in my notes and one of her most impressive moments was when she outjumped defenders to secure two offensive rebounds on the same possession, then scored the bucket.
