One of the purest guards in the state. If the scoring isn’t falling for Abdul, you can bet that she’s still making plays for her teammates. The vision and patience of Sara are matched by few players in this class, let alone this state. Her talents would help any high-level D2 program take things to another level… but I believe a D1 offer could still be made if the right program is still in search.

There aren’t many guards who have the handles and risk factor that Sara brings to the game. Being risky and confident is a great mix, and Sara has mastered that balance. She can make plays from all angles. On top of that, she’s capable of putting up solid numbers in the scoring column, whether by attacking the rim, pulling up for a midrange shot, or letting it go from the three. Her ability to score while also being a playmaker makes her a dynamic threat on the court, and a key player to watch.

A coaches favorite type of point guard. Abdul has the skillset to be impactful in both roles as a guard. She can facilitate or score, and she’s shown on multiple occasions of her doing it at a high level. Being the focal point for her Wheaton North team, Nora will be the main factor on the scouting sheet, but she has a sense of calmness about her that shows she can play through it. A strong season should be ahead.

Sara is your prototypical combo guard who has all the tools to be impactful with the ball and off the ball. She can shoot, attack the paint, and can run a PnR just as good as any top guard in her class. She’s smooth and safe with the ball, and has immaculate vision as a passer. On target for a majority of possessions. Defensively, the aggression and fight is there. Quiet player.. but she wakes up with the clock starts.

So smooth, so patient, never seems to get rattled. Abdul is your classic pass first guard but with tons of creativity and composure. She can weave through multiple defenders, and has the vision to set up a player before the defense has time to adjust. Her scoring ability is three levels as well… she plays the game with a good balance of both.

Watching Abdul play is exciting, her game has more flash than her emotion.. but she simply gets the job done. She has the confidence and competitiveness to play against anyone and still find ways to be herself when operating through an offense. She can score from all levels, play make from all angles and has the versatility to play with all type of skillsets. A true combo guard who has a bright future ahead of her.

Abdul is an incredibly skilled Guard who can play on or off-ball with her ability to score efficiently from every level, while also showing she can lead the offense and make plays in the open floor. She can play at any pace and controls the tempo of the game with her set of skills on the offensive end. Sara is a lights-out shooter from anywhere on the court and uses her quickness to maneuver around defenders and find openings to score near the basket.
