Sariyah may have been the youngest player in the gym, but her performance certainly didn’t look that way. The 2033 guard was one of the top players on the floor, showing impressive confidence and skill throughout the WMD Open Gym. She displayed tight handles and finished through contact during the drills before carrying that same attacking mentality into the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 action. Sariyah was shifty with the ball, using moves such as a hesitation and double low crossover to get by defenders and attack the basket. She also knocked down shots from beyond the arc and was active on the glass, collecting rebounds and offensive boards. Defensively, she showed good hands and consistently competed on that end of the floor. Her combination of skill, quickness, and competitiveness was impressive for the youngest player in attendance.
