The Huntingdon signee gave Model 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. She netted an early corner three and later scored with her right hand on the left side. Wood has a slightly unique release on her jump shot as she leans toward the basket which could potentially draw fouls on close outs that are too close. She did well playing within herself and not forcing the action.

I had a chance to see Sasha at the PGH Freshman Showcase and saw her energy and athleticism. Making the transition from softball to basketball has been productive. She is a very good defender and has a similar work ethic to her older brother, a DI basketball freshman this year.
