Massey is “long and athletic” Yep, it’s still the base, and ironically the first time I had a chance to see her was in 2022 in the Simmie Colson Classic see evaluation here. She played a huge part in her Boswell team winning the UIL 6A Division 2 State Championship and was named MVP I love her upside, she can blow by defenders off the dribble in the set, rebound on both ends, and defend both in and outside the paint yet her playing the passing lane is something I love seeing players do

Massey is “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base but her slicing by defenders to score off the dribble as well as hitting the boards on both ends was big as I flipped from game to game. It seems like every time I switched back, she was coming up with a momentum changer

Massey continues to give me more after catching her the first time at my #SimmieColsonClassic almost 3 years ago see evaluation here and one of the things I want to revisit in that article was “she’s doing things ahead of her years” so peep this, seeing her go coast to coast to finish was nice, yet she did it with either hand. Huge bump coming

March would have been 3 years since I initially saw Massey and that initial sighting at the #SimmieColsonClassic sold me see evaluation here I stand by my assessment because #ThereIsNoMe and I am a REAL EVALUATOR. Fast forward to the NOW, I caught up with her again online a few weeks ago see evaluation here but her Boswell squad is on my must-see list on the 26th at the Sandra Meadows Classic

Massey left a lasting first impression at the #SimmieColsonClassic see evaluation here. Although I had lost track of her, I was excited to see her and add to the next updated rankings which she deserves. Her “hands and footwork” around the basket to score to start the game had me zoom the screen in yet she also gave me the drop step. Her first step was nice as she scored off the dribble, she also played the passing lane plus guess what, she’s “long and athletic”
