Last season’s Dixie team graduated a bevy of seniors – seven in total. Not only was Connelley the only freshman on last season’s Hornets team, she also was one of only three players on last season’s Dixie roster that was not a 2026. The standout guard for the Hornets would compete in all 22 of the team’s contests last season for an assembling that earned a berth to the 1A state tournament. Dixie remained in 1A but was sorted into its Division 2 starting with the upcoming season. Connelley averaged 6.9 points and 1.7 steals per contest throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
