An impact player off the bench for Bartlesville (6th man of the year for her district) Ishem is a promising forward with a good athletic foundation. Long arms and good athleticism allow her to impact the game with scrappy defense. And she attacks rebounds on both ends of the court. Based on this past weekend, her athleticism and motor should help her open doors at the next level. In the meantime, if she keeps a hardhat wearing mentality, expect a big junior year leap next winter.

Signs point to Ishem being a player who is just starting to scratch the surface of her potential. Has the height, wingspan and athleticism that give her collegiate potential. Especially as there’s potential for her to continue to develop into more of a wing. It’s now time for the high school production to follow that potential. She’s making the jump from Dewey to the 6A level with Bartlesville. Which will be a challenge but, Ishem has the athletic traits to be an impact player on a Lady Bruins team filled with talented guards.

Listed as a power forward or center that I believe is athletic enough to play the small forward spot as well. The shooting form in the 3-point contest looked smooth with a nice release. The elbow was in and the follow through looked very consilient. In the 1 on 1 post, she had good footwork on the step outs. Using her length to work her way around the more physical post. In transition she got out and ahead on the break filling the lanes. Good hands on the catch that got it high on the box for the finish.

On posted defense in my notes I have underlined shot changer in the paint with her long wing span. A 2028 that I am seeing for the first time. I researched for film but was not able to find much so going off notes. I look forward to following this 2028 who has a good upside to her.
