#22 (Up from #32)
Richmond has continued to show a transformation over the years from being primarily a role player who could run the 1 or 2 efficiently into a player who can not only score in droves but her team on her back in clutch situations by finding ways to put the ball into the basket see evaluation here from the Spring Creek Mansfield Invitational

Richmond put her team on her back and watching her drop the midrange consistently from multiple spots, at times off balance, at times after contact, was nice but she wanted the ball in clutch situations and she delivered. She also used a deceptive first step to score off the dribble and her “stop and pop” jumper in transition needs to be mentioned along with her “catch and shoot” from deep

Richmond had a solid season and high school and has started off the club season with a bang with her new squad yet her upside still has more growth. She patiently sets the defender up to drop the midrange and her deceptive first step gets her to the basket to finish using solid body control. Her court vision in the set as well as in transition has gotten better yet her ability to score in the flow and making good decisions has always been there. She also is applying heat on the defensive end, not only in the set but baseline to baseline

Richmond is one of the most improved players in her class that I had already saw next level potential in years ago. She has been in the mix of things and next year, this will be her squad as she is showing leadership potential by comprehension alone. I enjoyed seeing her show the jumper in the set as well as the stop and pop in transition yet her court vision has gotten better, so has her baseline to baseline defense

Richmond grabbed my attention years ago as she was one of “the girls” so watching her add a little of this and a little of that to her game at the Spring Creek Mansfield Invitational has her elevating upwards 12 spots. No matter what setting I’ve caught her in, she understands how to adapt because she is “poised under pressure” and her comprehension of the game is solid. She does a good job of creating her shot under pressure yet what was even more impressive was watching her show the stop and pop in transition. Her ballhandling, as well as court vision was also solid, as well as her defense

Richmond has always played under control as well as shown poise under pressure yet she’s become more comfortable at wanting and delivering in pressure situations. Pull-up jumper looks good, so does her body control attacking the basket
