McCray’s high school career with 4A A.C. Flora commenced as an eighth grader and is soon nearing its conclusion. Once that takes place, McCray will depart from Forest Acres and take her talents to Prince George’s County, Maryland – Richard Bland College, to be exact. McCray is one of three team co-captains on this season’s Falcons assembling that has compiled an overall record of 12-8 plus a 6-3 Region 3-AAAA mark. She has averaged 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals per contest while playing in all 20 games in 2025-26. A.C. Flora is another school certain to have a very ballyhooed Senior Day given who is set to depart from the Falcons’ nest.

McCray has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader and is one of three team captains for this year’s 4A A.C. Flora assembling. She was recently offered by Columbia College and the 11 points she placed on the scoreboard for the Falcons in a 66-27 rout of 5A Division 2 host West Florence displayed exactly why coach Toccara Toland is hoping McCray will be in the Koalas’ signature purple hue when she embarks on her collegiate journey. All 11 of McCray’s points occurred in the first half of play. McCray can display a high level of comfortability and confidence in her ability to sink corner 3-pointers and can get creative with how she attacks the basket and finishes at the rim.

Flora to enter the recruitment chat, but McCray finally landed her first collegiate offer from Earlham College and coach Joe Adams in Indiana at the end of last month. McCray is fresh off her final AAU season where she proudly wore the Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite uniform. Last season’s Falcons may not have achieved the success of previous A.C. McCray is one of those underclassmen who plays as if they are an upperclassman. Given she has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader, McCray has more experience than the average 2026. It shows in how she plays. McCray dropped 18 points to lead her 4A A.C. Flora team to a 52-38 victory over Butler. The Falcons victory meant that A.C. Flora has gone back-to-back Winborn Showcases where they won all three games. McCray plays with a high basketball IQ and maintains a high level of activity even if she does not have the ball in her hands. She puts plenty of emphasis on taking care of the ball and limiting turnovers. McCray also approaches the game with a fearless attitude as she will attack the rim and go right at defenders.
