Davis recently picked up her first offer from Akron, and I think more will come with time. She gives O’Connor a lot of versatility and can help them in a number of different areas. With her expected to take on a bigger role and more of a leadership presence this season, she’ll have a good opportunity to really raise her stock. She’s definitely one I could see gaining more recruiting traction as the year goes on.

Davis turned in one of the better all-around performances I saw from a 2028 prospect. The sophomore forward impacted the game on both ends, running the floor, finishing around the basket, and creating extra possessions with her work on the offensive glass.

The rising sophomore is versatile and skilled — she can handle it, shoot it, and make reads. Against the Pumas, her ability to stretch the floor and attack closeouts could be a major swing factor. She’s capable of being a difference maker, not just a contributor. And in this field, that’s what separates teams.

Davis made timely plays on both ends of the floor. She created offense off turnovers and four steals, scoring eight of her 12 points in the final quarter. Her activity, especially in the second half, stood out in key moments.

Davis is a patient, poised wing who understands the game. She never rushes, never forces, and always seems to be in the right place. Her movement without the ball stands out, and her length gives her defensive versatility. As she becomes more assertive as a scorer, her impact will jump even higher.
