Nielsen is a bit off the radar because she is not playing on a traditional big circuit team but non-the-less she does play at a high level. She is a CG that could easily hit the ground running at the right D2 or even a NJCAA school like a Utah State Eastern. She is a good two-way player.

She showed a mixture of shooting and just simple placement in open areas and she made things happen. Nielsen has some strength and although she has positional size she was defending some bigger forwards. She’s had a good showing.

Nielsen is a talented two way player. Her ability to defend at a high level is very visable and she has more room to improve on that and her offense. Having that room to grow makes her an intriguing prospect. She is a solid CG that handle the ball and also play off the ball. Great at attacking the rim. Easily a D2 talent but with a ceiling she hasn’t met yet there could be room to move up.
