I last saw King at the PGH Space City Slam in April (read evaluation here.) It’s always exciting to see the on court player progression. Beyond shooting abilities, King has the ability to wreak havoc on the boards because she has a strong base which makes it difficult for opponents to move her out the paint. King’s shot never looks rushed and she is growing in her ability to shot fake and pull up off the bounce.

Sydney delivered a couple of beautiful passes to her teammates to initiate the offense and stayed incredibly active on the defensive end. Her energy and ability to disrupt her opponents made a noticeable impact throughout the game.

King heated up on day 1 of the Space City Slam and was absolutely on fire by day 2 PM! Poised scorer who uses a well-developed shot fake into a smooth dribble pull-up to create space. Her sweet spot from three is the corner pocket, where she consistently delivers with confidence. She understands timing and positioning, making her a reliable perimeter threat.
