Hightower made the small move from Anadarko to Riverside Indian School. Her arrival firmly puts the Lady Braves in the Class 2A State Title picture. She’ll be a Swiss Army Knife weapon for a team filled with shooting and skilled guards. Hightower is one of the best two way players in the 2027 Class. A plus athlete, with a long wingspan, she is very disruptive on defense. Capable of quickly turning defense into offense with steals, blocks and pushing off rebounds. Her ability to read the floor for transition passes and the halfcourt should make her the perfect set up woman for the Braves.

Hightower is known as a do everything wing, and she lived up to her versatile nature on Saturday. She’s a smart and crafty player on both ends of the floor. Using her long arms to deflect passes, block shots and grab boards. She’s an unselfish player “connector” type, seemingly always made the right passes to teammates. A no frills, efficient producer on both ends of the court. And because of her hard working mindset, height and athleticism, is among the better juniors in Oklahoma.

Taejah has transferred to Riverside Indian School from cross-town rival Anadarko. When watching her play last season the small forward plays like a big guard. She has all the skill sets you want in that slasher 3 guard. Moves great without the ball scoring on backdoor cuts. Shoots the 3 demanding coverage opening driving lanes for teammates. A ballhandler that pushes the tempo baseline to baseline looking to score on defenses jogging back. Good mid-range jumper that could flash into the high post area for that 15 foot jumper.
A excellent defender with great length in defending that next pass away. Rebounds the ball great for a guard and needs no offense as it a get the ball and go mentality. The addition of Taejan gives Riverside another tall guard that can score and play any type of defense. Look for Riverside to make a push for a State Tournament bid this season.

Lynchpin type player, who does the little things while also being a standout athlete. Impressive defensive mindset, with quick hands for steals and blocks. Or simply moving her feet to stay with guards. Can help out with the handling duties a bit as well. While also being a sneaky driver and scoring hustle points via putbacks or running the floor hard. Is switching high schools, joining Riverside Indian School.

Swung the night cap with energy and defense. Started with pass deflections and havoc causing plays, then added in tough one on one defense. Popped up to score or make unselfish passes when needed on offense. Her energy was vital in turning a close a game into a 20 point “dub”. Seemingly fits in perfectly to a new squad, that is set for a tough national schedule. Where a gritty, versatile defender like Hightower, will be crucial to success. While also opening doors to collegiate options.

Impressed in an in person at a scrimmage back in November. The highlights and stats on Hudl have backed up her status as a productive and high ceiling prospect. Smooth and fast athlete, makes plays on defense, quickly turning them into transition opportunities. Her ability to defend and play on the perimeter is crucial to compliment the senior size the Lady Warriors have. Hightower’s versatility has Anadarko one of the favorites to make State in Class 3A. And make noise when they reach the Big House.

An overlooked prospect, Hightower was super impressive during a Saturday morning contest. A tall, big wingspan wing who also brought the ball up the court, showing true guard skills. She’s smooth with her footwork on drives to avoid defenders and has outstanding touch around the basket. Knows when to play fast as a driver, or slow down and use her height and strength to finish. One of the top priorities to keep tabs on this season, as Hightower has all the tools to be a future collegiate player.
