Taialyn is a strong finisher around the basket who does a great job playing through contact and protecting the ball from shot blockers. She is also a good three-point shooter who can make an impact from beyond the arc. Taialyn plays well out of pick-and-roll action, making smart decisions with the ball in her hands and finding opportunities for herself and her teammates. She is a confident ball handler who does a great job running her team’s offense.

Taya may be smaller, but she showed that she can handle the ball, see the floor, and find open cutters. She pushed the pace off defensive rebounds and delivered some impressive long passes in transition, showing good vision and the ability to advance the ball quickly. She also ran the floor hard herself, finishing a fast-break layup through contact for an and-one and contributing on the glass with back-to-back rebounds.
